The Association of Translators and Interpreters in the San Diego Area, ATISDA, was founded in February 2008 when a group of translators, interpreters, and educators decided to organize themselves in support of the community of language professionals in the Southern California area.

ATISDA is a diverse organization of translators and interpreters who work with a variety of languages. It is the only American Translators Association Affiliate organization in Southern California and, as such, we draw members from all around Southern California, adjoining states, and Mexico.

ATISDA continually seeks to diversify and expand the language representation of our members. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the belief that real industry progress will come from working together. We intend to foster innovative ways to promote ourselves and our industry and offer our clients unique, collaborative value.
